This year we're keeping it focused. Four milestone rides — each one building on the last — leading up to the big day at Tour de Nash on May 16.
We ride together every week leading up to Tour de Nash. Week 2 got rained out — so we activated the rain check and shifted everything back one week. The plan is still the plan. Sign up for the rides you plan to join so we can have the right support in place.
Week 2 was rained out — we used the built-in rain check week and shifted the schedule back one week. We're still on track for Tour de Nash on May 16.
This is what we've been training for. 25 miles through Music City with the whole crew.
Register for Tour de NashDoors open at 8:00am. We roll at 8:30 sharp — don't be the reason we wait.
Find a sustainable pace you can hold for the full distance. Each milestone is longer — don't burn out on mile one.
Bring water and a snack for anything over 10 miles. Eat something real before you arrive.
Test your brakes and check your tire pressure the night before each ride. Don't wait for the mechanic to catch it.
If a ride is cancelled due to weather, May 9 is the makeup day — keeping everyone on schedule before the tour.
Sweep riders keep the back of the pack safe. If you finish fast, wait at the checkpoint — no one rides alone.
